Eurythmy Department
Study eurythmy: As a eurythmist, a wide range of career opportunities are open to you in schools, on stage, or in therapeutic fields of work.
Eurythmy as the Joy of Movement
Eurythmy, the art of movement developed by Rudolf Steiner in the early 20th century within the context of anthroposophy, has become established in education, therapy, social fields of work, and as a performing art.
With its degree programs, the Eurythmy Department is the only training institution worldwide to prepare students for all professional fields of eurythmy. The eurythmy program is divided into an undergraduate bachelor’s degree and a consecutive master’s degree with professionally specialized study tracks. Today, eurythmists work as freelance artists, as teachers at independent Waldorf schools and in Waldorf educational institutions, and as movement therapists.

In addition to its degree programs, the Eurythmy Department also offers advanced training and university certificate courses as continuing education opportunities.
