People at the Center
The Department of Educational Science at Alanus University is dedicated to scientific and artistic education and research, particularly professional qualification in the fields of teacher education, pedagogical practice research, curative education, and early childhood education.
The Department of Educational Science offers degree programs in the educational and artistic fields that prepare students for professional work in schools, kindergartens, curative education institutions, and other educational settings. A central concern of the educational degree programs is the dialogical connection between reform and Waldorf education and general educational science.
Since August 2014, Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences has also had a campus in Mannheim with the Institute for Waldorf Education, Inclusion and Interculturality (more information is available here).
