Department of Business
The Department of Business at Alanus University goes far beyond the scope of traditional business administration and places a focus on sustainable business practices.
Rethinking business and shaping it creatively
This means combining business expertise with innovative and artistic methods to develop new solutions for companies, people, and the environment.
At Alanus University, business administration is combined with sustainability management, ethical issues, and innovative methods. The bachelor’s degree program Business & Acting opens up new perspectives and broadens the horizon of traditional business administration through the combination of performing arts and business. The aim is to explore creative scope and foster responsible leaders who connect economic action with social change.
Business with purpose – a degree program with vision
At Alanus University, art and science come together – a combination that enables innovation and creative perspectives on economic challenges. Whether sustainable management, organizational development, or social finance, the degree program addresses current social developments and prepares students in a practical way for an economy with a future.
Learning through practice – real insights into business
The Department of Business relies on a practice-oriented and dynamic study concept. Students engage with real business challenges, exchange ideas with experts, and gain valuable practical insights through excursions.
In addition, there is the opportunity to complement the degree program with practical phases during lecture-free periods or to work in a company from the very beginning. Similar to a dual study program, knowledge is applied directly in practice – in close collaboration with sustainable companies that actively shape transformation.
