LOM® Advanced Course Self-portrait: Completion of relationship work / Making decisions (Stephanie Loop)
Following relationship-oriented image work as applied in the LOM® process, it is of central importance that the person painting perceives and represents themselves just as distinctly as the previously created relationship portrait. For this purpose, the self-portrait is used. During the artistic exploration, a special focus is placed on the differentiated observation and reflection of current emotions, bodily sensations, as well as dysfunctional cognitions and thought patterns that arise in the moment of the creative process.
Continuing Education LOM® Methodology for Children and Adolescents (Simone Riner)
You work with children and adolescents as a LOM® therapist and would like to clarify your open questions, reflect on your positive experiences, or learn from the positive experiences of your colleagues. We offer a combination of theory review, exchange of experience, and supervision.
LOM®
LOM® Solution-Focused Art Therapy is an art therapy approach that works directly with the concerns of the person painting. These concerns may include unwanted symptoms and memories, inappropriate behavior, trauma, fears, relationship conflicts, disturbing cognitions, dreams, wishes, challenges, and whatever else is brought in. LOM® primarily works on the brain and brings about lasting improvements in quality of life. The art therapeutic work is based on standardized assessments, and the success of the work is evaluated on a scale of 0 to 10 at the beginning and at the end of the process. LOM® is supported by studies.
The art therapist proposes a very specific procedure for the issue at hand, and the person painting is guided by them at all times during the painting process. The procedure is based on three fundamental interventions and is implemented practically in this seminar. To make it easier to get started, several cases will be shown at the beginning of the seminar. The continuing education course is conducted online.
The insights into the LOM® method are intended to encourage participants to consider new approaches to art therapy.
The advanced courses are aimed at LOM® therapists. You can find the foundation course, with the option to acquire the LOM® and Alanus certificate, here.
