International and transdisciplinary project senseLAB / Sensory perception as the basis of creative processes

Engagement with the question of the significance of sensory perception for creative processes within artistic practice, art therapy and art education, philosophy, and psychology forms the basis for the senseLAB project. Once a year, a workshop on this topic takes place in Havana, Cuba, at our partner university Universidad de las Artes (ISA), with students from both institutions. On the basis of the workshop, learning processes are initiated that sensitise perception of the self and of another person in multidimensional ways and train participants to explore a holistic and differentiated understanding of the interrelations between self and world.

Participants: Prof. Dr. Dagmar Wohler, Prof. Andrea Sunder-Plassmann, Prof. Dr. Frency Fernandez Rosales (Universidad de las Artes Cuba)

Period: 2010-2016 (and ongoing)
