II: Documentation of Image Development Processes
The aim of the project is to map the art therapy work process in the unity of person and image in a differentiated way and to identify process parameters that are sensitive to change for the progression of therapy. This is accompanied by the question of what diagnostic and therapeutic added value arises when, in therapy, not only the finished picture painted by the patient is available, but the process of image creation can also be taken into account. As part of the project, video recordings of image creation processes are evaluated.

I: Establishment of the Research Laboratory
A research laboratory (with video recording technology) was established, enabling the systematic documentation of image development processes and therapist-patient/client interactions in the context of microanalyses. In addition, the research laboratory serves to intensify training processes such as self-exploration/supervision/therapist training.
