Art and Science in Dialogue
Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences is a private, state-recognized university of the arts under independent sponsorship in Alfter near Bonn. Since August 2014, there has also been a study center in Mannheim. Under its roof, the university brings together degree programs in architecture, fine arts, acting, eurythmy, artistic therapies, education, philosophy, and business. An important part of the Alanus University concept is the encounter between art and science. In its combination, the range of degree programs offers the opportunity for dialogue and mutual inspiration between the different disciplines in interdisciplinary projects.
At Alanus University, young people are encouraged to take the development of their personality and of society into their own hands and to contribute personally. To achieve this, Alanus University places great value on intensive support for its students and promotes interdisciplinary educational approaches.
