New CHE University Ranking

Business Administration students at Alanus University are particularly satisfied.

Business Administration students at Alanus University are very satisfied with their study situation: this is the result of the current university ranking by the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE), which was published in the new ZEIT Study Guide 2017/18. According to the ranking, the degree program “Business Administration – Rethinking Business” is among the top group in the categories “overall study situation” and “graduation within an appropriate period of time.”
“We are very pleased that our excellent study conditions and development opportunities are being recognized in the university ranking,” says Professor Dirk Battenfeld, Head of the Department of Economics. Business Administration student Christin Stein especially appreciates “the small study groups, which enable close exchange among us students as well as  with the lecturers.”
With its bachelor’s degree program “Business Administration – Rethinking Business,” Alanus University offers practice-oriented education: the Department of Economics cooperates with around 30 practice partners, all of which pursue socially and ecologically oriented corporate management (including dm-drogerie markt, Alnatura, and Triodos Bank). There, students gain up to 60 weeks of professional experience before graduating – from stocking shelves to the executive floor.
Every year, CHE examines popular degree programs.  Students evaluate their study conditions in the process. Each year, one third of the subjects are reassessed; this year these are Business Administration, Law, Economics, Social Work, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Law, and Economic Sciences.
