Doctoral Research Training Group in Waldorf Education

The Doctoral Research Training Group in Waldorf Education serves to promote scholarship and support early-career academics in the field of Waldorf education. Its aim is to systematically pursue research questions relating to Waldorf education and thereby integrate Waldorf education into academic discourse.

The Research Training Group is under the academic responsibility of Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences and cooperates with other universities both nationally and internationally. It is supported by the Software AG Foundation, the Educational Research Unit of the Federation of Independent Waldorf Schools, and the company Stockmar.

The Research Training Group awards doctoral scholarships together with material resources for a period of three years. It offers a structured qualification programme for doctoral candidates with research colloquia and study events, as well as a coherent research programme closely linked to them.
