Thinking short-term for the long term? Not with us!

As early as 08/11/2019, 25 students and 13 lecturers came together to work on sustainability topics such as materials and appreciation, the inner attitude of sustainability, experiences of effectiveness, research in the field of sustainability, transdisciplinary possibilities for action, imaginative and digital methods, and sculptural work for forms of a future participatory conference.

Building on this, an internal follow-up symposium for all therapeutic degree programs at Alanus University in Alfter will take place on 28/06/2020. We want to become active ourselves and, together with students and lecturers, address the question: How can the topic of sustainability in the arts therapies be shaped concretely in the future?

Sustainable therapy concepts are in demand, as is participation in the broadest sense, incorporating the patient perspective and leaving room for breathing, play, and humor.
