Kunst-und-Bau-Projekte am Neubau Biomedizinisches Zentrum II des Universitätsklinikums Bonn im Rahmen der Kooperation der Universität Bonn mit der Alanus Hochschule für Kunst und Gesellschaft Alfter
Die Universität Bonn und die Alanus Hochschule arbeiten zusammen daran, die Themen und Inhalte der Exzellenzcluster der Universität zum Gegenstand verschiedener künstlerischer Auseinandersetzungen zu machen. Unter dem Stichwort „Wissenschaftskommunikation“ verfolgen die Partner das Ziel, durch die Mittel und Möglichkeiten der Kunst ein weiteres Medium des gesellschaftlichen Dialogs zu eröffnen und eine breite öffentliche Wahrnehmung zu erzielen. Für das Exzellenzcluster „immunosensation2“ im Neubau des Biomedizinischen Zentrums II am Universitätsklinikum Bonn führt die Alanus Hochschule, vertreten und verantwortet durch Prof. Willem-Jan Beeren (Fachbereich Architektur) und Prof. Paul Jonas Petry (Fachbereich Bildende Kunst) im Zeitraum von 2022 bis 2024 mehrere für den Standort entwickelte Kunst-und-Bau-Projekte durch, die an dieser Stelle prozessbegleitend dokumentieren werden:

The University of Bonn and the Alanus University of Applied Sciences are working together to make the themes and content of the university’s clusters of excellence the subject of various artistic explorations. Under the heading of „science communication“, the partners are pursuing the goal of using the means and possibilities of art to open up another medium of social dialogue and to achieve broad public awareness. For the Cluster of Excellence „immunosensation2“ in the new building of the Biomedical Centre II at the University Hospital Bonn, the Alanus University of Applied Sciences, represented and responsible by Prof. Willem-Jan Beeren (Department of Architecture) and Prof. Paul Jonas Petry (Department of Fine Arts), will carry out several art and building projects developed for the location in the period from 2022 to 2024 and document them here to accompany the process:
