How We Live: Art Spaces in Public Space
On the occasion of the anniversary “20 Years of Bonn as a UN City” in autumn 2016, students from the Department of Fine Arts created many different art spaces and carried out mobile activities throughout the Bonn city area.
From 24 to 29 October 2016, the artists explored the motto “How We Live” from various perspectives and in different media, turning Bonn into a venue for exhibitions and interventions.
Citizens were invited to actively participate and contribute. The projects met with a strong
public response. At the same time, an exhibition of student works on the
theme “How We Live” took place at the Künstlerforum Bonn.
On the Bonn United Nations Day on 29 October 2016, the artists presented a selection of their works in Bonn’s market square.
