Ulrike Langescheid, born in 1964 in the Rhineland, is a eurythmist and has been a eurythmy teacher for all age groups from kindergarten to upper secondary level at various Waldorf schools in Germany and Estonia since 1989, and has been a lecturer in eurythmy education at Alanus University since 2007. She is responsible for the basic qualification in eurythmy education in the Bachelor’s degree program in Eurythmy and for the educational topics in the Master’s degree program Eurythmy in School and Society.
Her interest in educational topics and in supporting children and young people is continually rekindled in her daily work at school. Through the symposia on eurythmy education, she aims to create a forum for exchange and mutual awareness that can provide new impulses for educational eurythmy that is viable and forward-looking.
