Go abroad with Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, youth and sport. Erasmus+ brings together the previous EU programmes for lifelong learning, youth and sport, as well as the European cooperation programmes in the field of higher education. The programme includes three key actions to which Alanus University has committed itself in its European Policy Statement:

  • Key Action 1: Learning mobility of individuals
  • Key Action 2: Cooperation to promote innovation and the exchange of good practices
  • Key Action 3: Support for policy reform
Additional funding

For the 2021 to 2027 programme generation, the European education programme Erasmus+ has declared inclusion and diversity to be among its most important objectives. Erasmus+ follows a holistic concept of inclusion and aims to facilitate access to Erasmus+ for people who have not previously taken part in the programme due to various barriers.

For certain target groups, there is therefore the possibility of receiving additional financial support – known as “additional funding” – to cover extra expenses or needs. Depending on the target group, different types of additional funding can be applied for. Another horizontal objective of the Erasmus programme is the promotion of sustainability. “Green travel” is therefore supported in the Erasmus+ programme with additional financial grants.

Here you will find the criteria catalogue for additional financial support.
