Monologues and dialogues about love by students of Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences
Monologues and dialogues about love by students of Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences
Under the title “L’amour,” students from the “Business & Acting” degree programme at Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences present a special evening of theatre at Theater im Ballsaal Bonn. They will perform monologues and dialogues from modern and classical literature, exploring one of the strongest human emotions: love.
In the seminar “Scenic Work,” the students explored love, passion, rejection, and betrayal. They selected scenes that raise personal questions, stimulate their imagination, or deliberately lead them into situations unfamiliar to them. The result is an evening full of humour, emotional extremes, and profound reflection that makes the magic of theatre tangible in an immediate way.
The scenes were developed as part of the module final examination for the third semester. The evening reveals how intensively and committedly the students engaged with the texts and themes.
