Bonn Theatre Night 2026

Alanus students from the Acting department bring movement to the city!

On 13 May 2026, Bonn will once again become a stage – and Alanus University will be right in the middle of it: students from the performART and Business & Acting degree programs will present an exciting program spanning urban space, performance, and contemporary theatre practice. A special highlight of Bonn Theatre Night 2026 is the WALLS OF VISION bus tour, a mobile art and theatre experience in cooperation with the Dr. Hans Riegel Foundation and SWB Bus & Bahn. The tour connects selected stops of large-format facade art with performative interventions: students accompany the journey, open up new perspectives on the works, and provide insights into artistic backgrounds as well as social issues.

At the Museum August Macke Haus, the students will also present impressive productions: “Medea 2.0” approaches the ancient myth through contemporary questions about toxic relationships and social role models. “Emma’s Liberation from Original Sin” is an intense solo performance about shame, identity, and empowerment. Additional contributions can be experienced on the foyer stage at the Schauspielhaus, in the Thalia Bookstore, as well as at the GOP Varieté-Theater. Tickets are available via Bonnticket.
