The Staff Council represents the interests of all employees of Alanus University and the Alanus Werkhaus continuing education center vis-à-vis the employer, represented by management. It currently consists of nine full members.

It is a particular concern of the Staff Council to appropriately take into account and, where possible, improve the living and working realities of all staff members. In close exchange with colleagues, ideas are gathered, proposed solutions are developed, and alternatives and options for action are created and discussed. All Staff Council members are available as contacts; they are always open and grateful for suggestions and requests from the staff.

The BR-Info is the information medium of the Staff Council. It provides information about current topics concerning the university community and staff, as well as current tasks and work results of the committee. The BR-Info is generally published monthly.
