Class of Prof. Paul Petry
Class of Prof. Paul Petry
#sculpture #artobject
Everything is sculpture! The class of Professor Paul Petry sees itself as a free, experimental environment for research and work in the visual arts. The real-subjective world of experience, as the foundation of every artist, forms the prerequisite for independent work. In colloquia, during exhibition visits, and in one-on-one conversations, students discuss their observations and ideas and place them in a contemporary context.
The aim is for artists to develop an independent way of working, process management, and an artistic position that results from this. Overlaps with design, art in architecture, and social-artistic fields of work are part of the artistic education in order to gain a perspective on the markets and currents of art in the twenty-first century.
All those who have or wish to develop an affinity for sculpture, object, body, and space are welcome. Art is an attitude.
“Go to the studio! Let’s discuss! Use yourselves!”
