Innovation teams, founders, and anyone with a good idea can apply until October 12, 2025.

On November 18, 2025, the first Impact Pitch Night will take place at DIGITALHUB Bonn. Start-ups, founders, and visionaries will have the opportunity to present their ideas or specific projects. The top three winners will receive prizes of up to 3,000 euros. Applications are open until Sunday, October 12. The Impact Pitch Night is being held as part of the “SoNaR” project, a cooperative project of Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences, Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, and the University of Bonn.

Bringing good ideas with social or ecological impact to life requires visibility, feedback, networking, and financial support. The Impact Pitch Night gives innovative projects from the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg region a boost and creates connections with potential supporters and experts. Whether interested individuals, founders, students, or innovation teams, the Impact Pitch Night offers a stage to anyone with an idea geared toward the common good who wants to present it to a wider audience. The only requirement is that the idea or founding team must have a regional connection. The evening will be opened by Rebecca Göckel, CEO and founder of NOMOO and a member of the four-person jury. The jury will award prizes to the participants: first place will receive 3,000 euros, second place 2,000 euros, and third place 1,000 euros. In addition, all finalist teams will receive exclusive coaching on how to make their pitches successful. The non-profit organization Anthropia will also award one place in the selection camp for the Impact Factory incubator starting in December, a start-up scholarship that offers social entrepreneurs a collaborative space to develop scalable innovations for solving complex social and ecological challenges.

Applications for the Impact Pitch Night are open until Sunday, October 12. The Impact Pitch Night is organized as part of the project “SoNaR – Social entrepreneurship, sustainable impact: Impact Cluster Region Bonn-Rhein-Sieg,” a cooperative project of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, the University of Bonn, and Alanus University to strengthen common-good-oriented start-ups in the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg region. As part of the “Creating Sustainable Impact” program, the project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF Plus).
