University Continuing Education with Prof. Doris Titze

Within a crisis, a change of perspective is often difficult, but nonverbal methods help people move beyond entrenched (verbal) conflict situations.

Small sketches often develop solutions for major issues, which can be anchored in new images as stand-ins, also in a figurative sense. Clarifying banal everyday irritations usually helps in approaching larger, anxiety-inducing conflicts.

The resonance-oriented method of the Formal-Analytical Mirror Image supports this as a sequential dialogue and opens up a multifaceted perspective on it. The space between word and image opens active, self-effective spaces of possibility and action.
