Studying Fine Arts – New clip online!

“Alanus University is a small but special art school,” says Professor Tessa Knapp. Painting, digital media, sculpture, performance… In the Fine Arts bachelor’s degree program, students learn the fundamentals of contemporary fine art in all its facets. At the heart of the program is free, independent work in the studios.

“My lecturers in particular take a lot of time for me and respond constructively to my  work. This allows me to develop enormously as an artist,” says bachelor’s student Niklas van Megen. Student Anna Franzen lives in Cologne and appreciates the special study location in Alfter: “There is a great deal of space on campus, and you are right in the countryside. And that really does feel very good. Being able to feel so comfortable here is also super important, since we spend so much time in the studio.”
