Lavinia and Paul studied Business Administration — Rethinking Economics. In the video, they talk about their diverse work, describe how they benefited from studying at Alanus University, and share personal insights.

Lavinia Muth is a sustainability manager at ARMEDANGELS in Cologne and travels the world for the fashion label: “In my job, I examine what we can do better, more sustainably, and more fairly in order to leave as little negative impact on our planet as possible.” Lavinia has fond memories of her time at Alanus University. She was part of the first cohort of the Business Administration — Rethinking Economics degree program. “We learned to be courageous and to question everything in order to identify opportunities for shaping a wide range of industries and services. But we already have enough system critics. We need to start taking action.”

Paul Corrales-Braun works at the IT company Code Intelligence in Bonn. “With our solution, customers can independently check their software for errors and security vulnerabilities. This enables companies to develop secure software more quickly.” He mainly works on the sales team — while also serving as the start-up’s “feel-good manager.” In his private life, he is involved with the association Bonn in Transition, which aims to make the city more sustainable, more social, and more future-ready.
