Fine Arts Rundgang 2024 – it was wonderful!
10.07.2024 - Congratulations to the graduates and to the winners of the Rundgang Awards 2024.
Congratulations to the graduates and to the winners of the Rundgang Awards 2024.
What drives young artists today? Visitors were able to gain insight into this at the Fine Arts Rundgang 2024 from 20 to 23 June at Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences in Alfter near Bonn! Whether using oil paint or AI technology, this year’s final and semester projects by students from the degree programs Fine Arts, Art-Education-Therapy, performART and Architecture presented compelling artistic positions.
As part of the festive opening of the Rundgang in the Sculpture Courtyard, the graduates received the traditional sunflowers. In addition, the winners of the Rundgang Awards 2024 were announced. With their outstanding final artistic projects, these three graduates impressed the jury of professors and lecturers: Xiaochuan Wang, a master’s student in Fine Arts, with his ironic-expressive “Pig Fantasies”, Christin Jatzek, a bachelor’s student in Art-Education-Therapy, with her moving memory collage made of glass panes, and Solveig Turner, a bachelor’s student in Fine Arts, with angry textile embroideries against misogyny. Well done!
