Objectives and content: Introduction to the topic. Through various exercises, participants are given insight into the qualities and movements of colors and their relationship to human development and cultural epochs. The exercises are carried out mainly with charcoal. Concluding discussion and questions about the course.

Recognizing pathological tendencies in patients’ pictures
Objectives and content: Introduction to the laws of light and darkness and painting therapy according to the working method of Liane Collot d´Herbois.
Self-exploration through painting with charcoal on this topic.
Observation and analysis of patients’ pictures using a set of guiding questions.
Through practical exercises, participants acquire the ability to draw conclusions from patients’ pictures that can be applied in therapy.
Discussion of possible balancing and form-giving pictures emerging from the painting therapy process.
Concluding discussion and questions about the course.

For this, an additional assignment is required in the form of a method journal designed as an artistically created booklet with illustrations, tables, and texts on the contents of the continuing education program on the topic “The laws of light and darkness in nature and in the human being.” Further details should be discussed with the lecturer. A university certificate is not discountable.
