Together with the Alanus Foundation, the AIB Foundation and Haus EUTOPIA awarded two scholarships to students in the bachelor’s degree program Philosophy, Arts and Social Entrepreneurship. Marlene Horn and Lukas Romes impressed the selection committee with an innovative approach and a research question of academic relevance to the degree program profile.
The students will now have their tuition fees waived in the spring semester. In addition, both can work free of charge for six months in the EUTOPIA co-working space in Bonn.
The scholarships were awarded shortly before Christmas – due to the coronavirus pandemic, however, only online. The call for applications was aimed explicitly at students who will write their thesis in 2021 and will complete their studies shortly thereafter.
