Senior representatives from companies will discuss innovative sustainability approaches in the financial sector via Zoom from 17 October as part of four lectures, and the factors that stand in the way of their implementation.
The last economic and financial crisis clearly demonstrated the major economic importance of banking and finance. In addition, this sector also plays an important role in environmentally and socially sustainable development. Only gradually is awareness growing among decision-makers and the general public of the importance of the financial sector for the sustainable orientation of the economy.
As part of the lecture series “Social Finance”, there will be an opportunity to discuss with senior representatives from companies and institutions which factors stand in the way of greater sustainability in the financial sector and which innovative approaches to creating a sustainable or more sustainable financial sector have already been developed.
