Insights into the significance of identity development for our health from 11 October to 13 December 2023 at Alanus University.
Identity seems to be an important factor in health. After all, it means feeling at one with oneself and at ease, again and again. With a view to healthy development, we arrive at our identity through a lifelong process of development and integration. Identity is formed as the totality of different ego states within our physical, social, professional, cultural and spiritual relationships, and thus describes the uniqueness of each personality. But what constitutes an individual? How is this experienced inner unity of a person constituted? And what does this mean in the discourse of art, psychotherapy, medicine, philosophy and education for each individual, as well as in a visionary social context?
