Results and work in progress from the seminars In-House Production and Independent Role Work
Two evenings like a mini festival: made in Alfter brings together new in-house productions that have been supported in the seminars ‘In-House Production’ and ‘Independent Role Work’ from the initial idea through to presentation – theatre, performance, short film, audio piece, hybrid forms and everything in between. Sometimes it gets loud and physical, sometimes very quiet and intimate: short formats meet longer works, solo meets ensemble, text meets sound, image meets movement.
Audiences can expect not a “best of,” but a spectrum of artistic signatures: concepts that must prove themselves live, scenes that suddenly shift, images that linger in the mind – and moments when an idea becomes an event. In recent years, works such as “Licht”, “Möbius Raumzeit”, “Heimat in Vielfalt” and “schwarze Füße” have emerged in this context – and that is precisely what makes this open field so appealing: Anything is possible, as long as it is made in Alfter.
