Education
Foundations of education, history of education, alternative education and Waldorf education, educational psychology, media education.

Foundations of Waldorf Education
Fundamental content of anthroposophy, educational anthropology, sensory education, child observation.

School and Society
School development, school organisation, conference work, moderation, parent counselling and support, adult education.

Introduction to Educational Research
Academic and methodological foundations of research, methods and examples of educational research.

Teaching and General Didactics
General didactics, teaching concepts, didactic particularities of Waldorf schools.

Subject Didactics
Foundations of the didactics of subject teaching and/or Waldorf class teacher subjects, curriculum and teaching in specific subjects, subject-specific lesson planning, internships.

Waldorf Education in Dialogue
Waldorf education and alternative education in dialogue, international aspects, challenges of current Waldorf teacher education, criticism of Waldorf education and anthroposophy.

Art
Painting, drawing, sculpture, eurythmy, theatre, language, and music.

General Education
History of philosophy, art and cultural history, cognitive science, ethics.

3-year degree programme

per year: 3 weeks in summer (15 days) at Alanus University in Germany,

2 weeks in winter (10 days) in China,

10-hour online weekend course per month (approx. 6–8 weekends per year).

The course begins in August 2025.

A first university degree is required for admission to the programme.

The language of instruction in the Master’s programme is English; however, translations into other languages are provided.

Tuition fees: €5,400 per year, €16,200 total (3 years).

Scholarship: Outstanding students have the opportunity to apply for scholarships.

Living costs: Students must cover the costs of accommodation, meals, flights/train travel, and visas themselves. The university provides support with the visa application and offers comprehensive advice before departure.
