Do you believe it is important to act value-oriented and ethically? Do you want to do business in a sustainable, climate-friendly way? Do you want to think outside the box in your studies and develop your personality? Do you want to take on leadership responsibility after your studies? Then the Business Administration, Society, Innovation degree programme is designed for you!

The degree course in business administration, economics, sociology and sustainability prepares you for professional fields in organisational development, work design, human resources and innovation management in companies or NGOs. If you want to act competently and ethically in economic, social and cultural areas, this course of study is right for you.
Business Administration, Society, Innovation is a practice-oriented course of study. In the seminars you will acquire the ability to act competently and reflectively and to understand future-oriented approaches. Executives from companies and organisations regularly report on their everyday work, and you will work on practical projects based on real issues.

Would you like to get to know Alanus University and gain insight into the seminars? The Department of Business Management offers prospective students the opportunity to attend seminars all day and gain initial impressions of the lecturers, students and staff, explore the campus and ask questions about degree courses. Here are the scheduled dates for Observation.

The Department of Business Management is on Facebook and Instagram.

Unique feature of the programme is the combination with modules from Art and Studium Generale. Through practical art exercises you have the opportunity to develop your personality and social skills. You will learn to train your perception and work in business with creativity and commitment to solving social problems.

Students from all disciplines and years learn together in the Studium Generale, a supplementary culture studies programme that is an essential part of all degree courses at Alanus University. The lecturers and seminars encourage students to reflect upon cultural and philosophical issues and thus find and form their own position in the social context.

The topic of sustainability is a particular focus at Alanus University and thus in the Business Administration, Society, Innovation course. Our students and staff are involved in the Fridays for Future movement and are committed to climate protection and fair trade. Alanus University has been awarded the title of Fairtrade University since 2018.

At Alanus University you study in a closely-knit environment. We accept a limited number of students per year. For this reason it is advantageous to apply early to secure your place at Alanus University.
