German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), a facility shared by German universities, supports international relations between German universities and foreign states by organising and supporting exchanges for students and researchers.

Here, you can find the guide entitled “Förderungsmöglichkeiten für ausländische Hochschulangehörige“ (Funding Opportunites for Foreign University Affiliates), which provides detailed information about which scholarships and organisations might be suitable for you.
The Alanus University Study.Art.Fund and the Alanus Foundation also award scholarships to foreign students. Further details are available from the International Office.

Karin Halft Scholarship
Alanus University awards a scholarship from the Karin Halft Scholarship Fund to students demonstrating outstanding achievement. Each year, one or two applicants receive financial support and particularly prestigious exhibition locations, making particularly high quality art available to the public.
Studien.Kunst.Fonds
The Alanus „Study.Art.Fund“ (Studien.Kunst.Fonds) is a fund founded and administrated by students of Alanus University, which is used to support Alanus University students from their second year of study by awarding scholarships and student loans. The most significant criteria for the selection process are financial need and artistic commitment. The fund also awards grants for extra-curricular student projects to be undertaken by students on their own initiative.
If you would like to be considered for a scholarship or loan, you must apply before the beginning of July of the respective year. Application forms are available in good time from the Admissions Office.
