Master of Arts
Management, Education and Research within Curative Education and Social Therapy

This is a part-time course over five semesters that covers the following areas:
  • Curative education and social therapy
  • The arts in curative education and social therapy
  • Research in curative education and social therapy
The course is aimed at those who intend to manage and develop organisations within a curative education and social therapeutic context and also at those who intend to teach and carry out research within the same fields.

The course links theoretical studies, art-based practice and practical project work within the particular curative or social therapeutic context of the student’s place of work or area of interest. The aim is to bring practical occupational issues within the sector into close connection with academic research by providing students with a grounding in a range of research methods and modes of enquiry.

Course Focus
The course focuses on anthroposophically orientated approaches to curative education and social therapy, while also developing key skills required for a position in management, teaching and research within the sector.
